Andrew Moore MA DPhil FRCA DSc

Andrew studied at biochemistry at Balliol College, Oxford, and has worked in the NHS, in industry, and in academia. He was the founding editor of the EBM bulletin Bandolier.

Andrew has worked in pain research for over 40 years since meeting John Lloyd and Henry McQuay at the Oxford Regional Pain Unit.

Andrew’s main research interests involve methods of systematic review, meta-analysis, clinical trials, and how to represent the results of clinical research for best use in clinical practice. He is the author of several books on pain and EBM, over 700 scientific papers, including over 100 Cochrane reviews.
